Watering has not been a problem - quite the opposite: I'm actually wondering if the roots will get enough air, as the runoff water sits in the bottom of the jar much longer than I expected. Might call for a quick fix, such as an "air vent" forced through the paper rimming the top. As always, I'm impatient for lusher greenery, particularly since these pups are so visible in my living area. Someday soon I'll pop in some more established plants and enjoy a brief flirtation with Martha-Stewart-style, capital-L "Living". Would love to see your cheesecloth innovations – sounds fun already. Do you have photos up on Folia already?
